Are you local and what will you be studying? I work at a large, global business south of the campus. About 70% of our engineering staff went to GT. I’m an exception.

Some classes get offered in the buildings on the hotel/conference center side of campus (Tech square), but because of the hike, they’re on a half-hour offset.Considering the nearest other classes to the freshman dorms are all the way up the hill past the stadium in the opposite direction, classes are a bit dispersed in general.
